- Interestingly almost every expansion pack has 1 up'd itself adding in a new largest creature in the game with the Alpha Deathworm surpassing the Titanosaur, Rockwell surpassing the Alpha Deathworm, and the King Titan surpassing Rockwell.
- However, Corrupted Master Controller is not as large as King Titan following the release of Genesis: Part 1.

ALso, in the months leading up to Extinction. There will be regular drops of Extinction-related Explorer Notes within ARK. And the already available expansion packs. Which, once collected will unlock new skins. And also the appearance of powerful Tek-themed Dinosaur variants within the ARKs.
Studio Wildcard released the first set of these Explorer Notes last Friday. Along with the first Extinction related skin ‘Corrupted Helm’.
Survivors who own the Explorer’s Pack or Season Pass. They will automatically receive Extinction for no additional cost. Also available as a standalone expansion pack and upgrade.
